Privacy Policy

Blossom Psychotherapy Services (“Blossom”, “we”) is based at KMA Centre, Upper Hill, Block C 1.2, Nairobi. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it and what you can ask us to do with it. We handle personal data in line with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we receive:

  • your name
  • your email address
  • the service you are interested in
  • the message you write

Please keep that message brief and leave out medical or other sensitive details. We will ask for what we need once we are in touch with you directly.

When you call, email or message us, we receive your phone number or email address and whatever you choose to share. Information you give us during therapy or an assessment is covered by our Confidentiality Policy, not this page.

How we use it

We use enquiry details only to reply to you, arrange an appointment or send the information you asked for. We don't sell your data, share it for marketing or add you to a mailing list without asking.

Who processes it for us

Form submissions are delivered by email through Resend, an email service whose servers are outside Kenya. Our website is hosted by a provider that may also process data outside Kenya. We use these services only to run the site and deliver your enquiry, and we choose providers that protect data to a standard the Act accepts.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond and follow up, and delete them within 12 months unless you become a client. Client records are kept for the period our professional obligations require.

Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data we hold about you
  • correct data that is wrong or out of date
  • delete your data where we no longer have a reason to keep it
  • stop or limit how we use it

Email info@blossomconsultants.co.ke to make a request. We will reply within the time the law sets.

If you are unhappy with how we handled your data, you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.

Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top.
